My name is Jeff McGee and I live in Newman Lake, WA. I am a service manager for a local heating and air conditioning company. I have been overweight for 15 plus years. I have tried several methods to lose weight unsuccessfully. I have tried everything from protein diets to Weight Watchers. I was able to lose weight, but would always yo-yo up and down from 380 pounds to 340 pounds. I was never able to achieve a major weight loss.

I thought about calling Positive Changes about 2 years before I finally came in. I was skeptical because I didn't understand how it could help you lose weight. After my first session, I walked out of here and I got to my truck and I immediately wanted water. I was no longer skeptical after that.
I wanted to lose between 90-100 pounds. I started noticing changes in my behavior the very first week. I didn't have any cravings for the sweets around the office. I was able to not snack when I got home. I didn't think about food after dinner.
I consistently lost 3 pounds a week starting the first week. I have lost 94 pounds to date. I've lost 10 inches. I went from a size 46 pant to a size 36. I've gone from a 2XL down to a XL and some Larges. I lost 4 pounds the first week and the first month I lost 17 pounds. It took me 7 months to lose most of the weight.
My eating habits did change. I started eating the right amounts and the right balance of carbohydrates and protein. I used to snack all the time. Now I pretty much crave the vegetables and fruit. I stick to my 3 meals a day. I recognize when I'm full and I don't overeat anymore. I am able to take smaller portions and not take seconds.
I am making better food choices even when I'm eating out. I exercise every day and make sure I'm eating at the right times. I still feel like I eat quite a bit and I don't feel like I'm being deprived.
Positive Changes made it easier to lose weight because it stopped me from making excuses. I workout every day and look forward to it. I don't crave the sweet or fried foods. Basically, this has changed the conversation in my head and kept me more motivated.
I listen to my hypnosis processes twice a day. I have more self-esteem. Now when I see myself in pictures, I actually think I look good. Everywhere I go people comment on how great I look. That makes me feel good. I am very proud of my accomplishments. It's easy, but it's not easy. You have to commit to making a lifestyle change.
My doctor said I added 10-20 years to my life. My heart is working less and he is very proud of what I've accomplished. My blood pressure is now consistently low. They have taken me off of all 3 of my blood pressure medications and I can sleep without my C-Pap machine.
The most valuable benefit overall that I've received is reducing my stress, eating healthy and having a healthy heart. It wasn't just about weight loss, but an overall balance of life.
I would recommend Positive Changes to anyone who wants to lose weight. I would tell them if they are willing to commit to making the change, then it's a great program and I would highly recommend it. My weight loss is permanent because I know how good it feels to be healthy. I know what I need to do to keep it permanent.
